Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust

Sigur Rós’s song “Festival” makes a pretty darn good soundtrack for a Friday afternoon. I’ve survived my first oral anatomy assessment and there’s nothing like listening to great music to unwind on this beautiful afternoon. If you listen to the (admittedly low-fi) link to the song, I think you’ll find the male falsetto to be nearly unearthly-beautiful.

Ahh, Sigur Ros. They remain one of all-time favorite bands. Speaking of the Ros, I’m going to see them when they’re in town on September 25th. I can’t remember if I emailed you about this. But you should really come A. so we can hang out again and B. because the Ros is heavenly. HEAVENLY. Also, if you’re in the mood for a gloriously uplifting song by Sigur Ros as opposed to a low-fi selection, go ahead and bathe your ears in the joy that is Hoppipolla (off their Takk album). Too good. TOO GOOD.
